My initial draft was a short letter to family, but I decided to take this further and make it a monthly activity for 2018. There are so many people of whom I'm thankful to be in the company. And so:

It's an hour 'til Thanksgiving closes for me. Probably, by the time I finish writing this, it'll be over. But that's fine—that's time well spent on appreciating those who've entered my life.

I know I'm not the most exciting Plurker, and the majority of my interests tend to be obscure. I don't talk to a lot of you on a regular basis as a result, because it's easiest to bond over similar interests, but that's fine. I don't cut or unfollow anyone. I try to skim most starter Plurks, and I know I miss a great many still, but that's fine. Point is, even if I don't know you that well after all this time, I still enjoy seeing the things you do and say. Because even if our interests don't line up, fact of the matter is that that something is important to you.

And just having you here means a lot to me.

I'm not a social creature. My attention span isn't so great that I can juggle a hundred friends with ease, but I treasure every bit of the attention I receive. Every time the number of friends on Plurk bumps up by one, I'm happy because it means there's someone who wants to talk, whether it's game- or canon discussion or what have you. I know I'm not the best at conversation if not outright tactless, so I'm glad to have that chance.

Thank you for having me. I'm thankful for you all.

Here's my personal message to each and every one of you on my Plurk.
